How Does Narcissistic Personality Disorder Develop?

It is generally accepted that narcissistic personality disorder tendencies may manifest as a result of defunct parenting. Narcissistic tendencies can develop as a result of very low emotional intelligence operating within a family dynamic.  If emotional support is non-existent and especially if replaced with abuse or abandonment, the child who becomes narcissistic may decide ‘It is too painful to be open and vulnerable and suffer the agony of being discarded or abused’ and will bury his or her ‘True Self’ to create a ‘False Self’ who is full of defenses and pathologies in order to survive.

The child who has become defensive and created a pathological narcissistic self, believes that the only way to get his or her needs met is to act out, be aggressive and demanding, manipulate, charm or lie about situations in order to minimize abuse, and fulfill his or her need to be recognized and acknowledged.

Sadly this creates a condition of ‘separation’ whereby the narcissistic child feels unsupported, and having to pit his or her will against others. This perception is the very root of the ‘me versus you’ condition inherent in individuals who suffer from narcissistic personality disorder.

Sometimes the role model of a narcissistic parent may have a large impact in regard to teaching aggression, judgment, entitlement, chauvinism, cruelty and other assorted narcissistic behaviors to children, who absorb these behaviors as ‘normal’ or even ‘admirable’.

This will be especially true if the narcissistic parent chose a particular child as the ‘extension of self’ used to create extra ammunition, pain and fear against the narcissistically abused spouse or love partner.

The other components, which may manifest narcissistic tendencies within children, are excessive entitlement with very few boundaries and an absence of accountability. If a child does not learn healthily the meaning of the word ‘no’, or that he or she will not suffer the consequences of poor choices and actions, narcissistic tendencies are almost guaranteed.

As a result the child may develop the narcissistic tendencies of believing he or she is omnipotent, entitled to everything he or she desires, and become a law unto self, who can do whatever he or she wishes regardless of the consequences.

Don't Believe the Hype

Take a bit of advice from Public Enemy, please. Don't believe the hype ! What hype am I talking about? The idea the Umar Johnson has actually acquired a building, in my view, is a bunch of hype. Exhibit One is the records of recent sales in New Castle County, Wilmington, DE Exhibit One - Recent real estate sales in New Castle County, Wilmington, DE Let's look at Exhibit Two below where we see that the last purchase of this property was in 2017. Leaving...

The Umar Johnson sector has gotten even crazier and I didn't think that was possible.  Too crazy for me. My goal is, and has always been, to bring awareness to Umar Johnson and his scams.  I have been doing this on and off for the better part of 10 years.  I was trying to write the news not be the news. I have no idea how "Da Sektah" has gone from bringing awareness to scams by Umar Johnson and others to going after each other.   One content creator saw me in a chat with someone they didn't like and thought I was a "double agent" because I commented in the chat in (what I hope) was a positive manner.  I am not "agent," let alone a so-called "double agent."  As a result, the content creator took my moderator status from their channel based on being seen an a chat room.   I was listening and commenting in a chat.  That doesn't make me a "double agent."  I look at this like a job.  I don't have to like someone, or agree wi...

Baby Mamma Number Three...

Umar Johnson has no right to tell anyone anything about families, children, or education as far as I'm concerned. Why? Because, y'all, Umar has just been "tagged" with Baby Mamma Number Three. I will not do the woman involved the disservice of putting her name out on this blog, but just pay attention to the video  below. This man, who is clearly irresponsible , who is telling you that he needs your donations to create a school for Black boys, although he can't explain where the money is , who tells you he isn't going to show you his plan because y'all too stupid to understand, unless you have a $10,000 check , then he can let you in on the plan, with his tax liens and a pretend relationship to Frederick Douglass, AND who has six degrees , none of which he has shown, who lies about celibacy , who has THREE, count 'em, THREE baby mammas , yet he is unapologetically African , who doesn't respect any man who is not committed to a Black wo...
