A Low-Down, Dirty Shame...
I just have to say it, Family. I have to say it because it is simply the truth.
It is just a low-down dirty shame that a father feels compelled to apologize for his grown-ass, 40-something year old son. This man, who is Umar's father, apologized to the people for Umar's ridiculous rant toward Seti.
This father apologized for his son's behavior -- the same son who is supposedly a clinical psychologist, a school psychologist and a child therapist with a doctorate.
This father apologized for his son's behavior -- the same son who wants to start a school for Black boys, many of whom are from fatherless homes.
This father apologized for a son -- the same son who wants people to give him money without answering legitimate questions.
This father apologized for a son -- the same son who want parents to turn their children over to him without questioning his credentials.
It is just a lowdown dirty same that a father would feel compelled to ask people to get in touch with his son.
This father is concerned for his son because it seems those Philly OGs aren't playing. It's not cool at all to play 'gangsta' when you know, and they know, that you are not 'gangsta'.
To paraphrase my father, Umar's mouth wrote a check that his ass can't cash.
