It's all about location, location, location, Folks!  So, let's look at a specific location in Philadelphia, PA, at 350 Willow Grove Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118, which was the supposed to have been the location of the 'office' of the Frederick Douglass and Marcus Garvey RBG International Academy, Inc. Here's a truth about me.  I actually personally know a couple of people in the field of psychology who deliver therapy and other mental health services to groups as well as individuals.  Out of the people I know who are practicing mental health professionals, many of them DO NOT have social media accounts.  One does, but she uses a different name for social media than the name she uses professionally. Bless the soul(s) of the person or persons who wants to put this event on. My mind just boggles at the lengths that Umar Johnson will go to in order to puff himself up and make himself look important.  Why do I think this? Well... Please consider the picture to the left. The first think I notice about this is that Umar Johnson has posted this so-called communication, allegedly from a parent or guardian, asking Umar Johnson for advice, supposedly via a social media platform like Facebook. The second thing I notice is that he posted this so-called solicitation above a picture of our beloved Baba Dick Gregory with information about his home-going ceremony, presumably from the family website. Christmas wreaths in August? You know, the things that one can learn by being on the Internet is astounding.  Just astounding. So I went back to the video posted on the Black Rulership  You Tube channel, dated August 27, 2017 and looked more carefully. My goodness!  How on earth did I miss these things? It's clear that Umar Johnson doesn't intend to build a school and probably never did.  It's clear that the money collected for a school is Umar Johnson's slush fund.  This is why can brag about paying his own way to travel to Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Africa.  He's doing it with your donation money. Umar, Umar, Umar, for all of your bloviating about being a scholar, you sure do seem to pull a lot of S ugar, H oney, I ced T ea from you a$$. There are so many examples, but I will focus on one for now. In an interview Umar did with Arthur Robinson, Jr., posted on June 20, 2017 , Umar said that there is nothing stopping a person of the African diaspora from visiting or re-locating to Africa. That sounds reasonable, so far.  No problem there. But where Umar goes left is at about the 24 minute and 24 second mark, in which he says the following: "Now I would say that one of the things that the African Union needs to improve upon at present there is no regulation(?) or application that allows Africans from the diaspora to apply for dual citizenship in Africa." Umar goes on to say that: "African-Americans are the only population in the world who are not allowed to have dual citizenship." Okay.  Let that simmer for a moment.  Now consider the following.

One of the items that struck me during the latest Umar debacle involving Roland Martin is that Umar claimed that Black men must marry, respect, and uphold Black women--which is a great idea. But, does Umar? Exhibit One Umar asked a radio host to hang up on a woman who respectfully asked him to explain a system of accountability for the donation money he'd collected up until that point. Exhibit Two Umar found himself in a so-called scandal involving the "Conscious Stripper."  He subsequently memed her and tried to assert that she was a prostitute who sold her body.  Hmm....so if that was the case, was he the trick (and where did he get the money to pay for her, ahem, services)?
