The Lengths He Will Go...
My mind just boggles at the lengths that Umar Johnson will go to in order to puff himself up and make himself look important. Why do I think this?
Well...
Please consider the picture to the left.
The first think I notice about this is that Umar Johnson has posted this so-called communication, allegedly from a parent or guardian, asking Umar Johnson for advice, supposedly via a social media platform like Facebook.
Hmmm....
The second thing I notice is that he posted this so-called solicitation above a picture of our beloved Baba Dick Gregory with information about his home-going ceremony, presumably from the family website.
Why would posting the information about Baba Dick Gregory have even been necessary? What does Baba Dick Gregory have to do with this supposedly solicitation for Umar Johnson's advise?
Or was Umar invoking Dick Gregory in order to give himself credibility, just like he invokes Frederick Douglass, Alexander Wayman, and, as he attempted to invoke the name of Harriet Tubman.
The third thing I noticed is that if, and this is a big if, this solicitation for Umar Johnson's advice is legitimate, why wouldn't he, if he were a true mental health professional, take that post down immediately for reasons of patient/client confidentiality.
Not only did he put it up, he tagged someone else, Anne McMillion.
No true mental health professional would dare do this.
Now, please consider the picture on the right. It's allegedly another solicitation of Umar Johnson for his so-called "expertise."
Notice that he has a picture of himself, tagged with his moniker, the Prince of Pan Afrikanism, in Cuba. Once again, I don't believe that Umar Johnson is a true mental health professional because a true mental health professional would NOT post such a letter from anyone. Once again, due to issues related to patient privacy and confidentiality, in addition to a potential violation of HIPAA laws.
And, what in the world does this picture of himself in Cuba have to do with a parent or guardian asking for assistance with his or her child?
The bottom line is this: If these posts are real and legitimate, then Umar Johnson's behavior, as a so-called professional mental health provider, would be completely and totally unethical. If the posts are not real and legitimate, then why bother and why lie?

When are we going to put a stop to Umar Johnson and his mess?
Good Lord...
