There are times in life when we need to let something die in order to find peace.   We, collectively, need to let Umar Johnson's lies, schemes and scams die so we can find peace. Umar Johnson lies to us about many things.  He has most apparently lied about opening a school for Black boys.  But he has also lied about being a therapist, a clinical psychologist, a school principal, and a life coach. Cyber-Bum Umar Johnson is a Cyber-Bum.  He is often seen on social media begging for donations.  There are plenty of examples of this behavior that can be found on social media. There are times when Umar Johnson has the temerity to record himself and post videos of himself as shown below, laying in bed, while at times calling Black people "lazy," asking for donations for a fantastical, non-existent school. And he has the audacity to call people "lazy" Virtual Vagrant Umar Johnson is a virtual vagrant .  He doesn't have a job. He doesn't have a permanent residence .  He has no visible means of support.  He's been in and out of child support for at least ten years.  He has no proof of income other than the donations with which he would, among other things, brag about frequent flyer miles , go to Japan and take Japanese baths , and flop around on a beach in Cuba . Umar Johnson has really hit on a hard time.  He's been on hard times, I believe, since he started this pro-Black, FDMG, pan African scam.  I say that because it seems to me that he would have to know that this scam wasn't going to last forever.  It seems that he had to know that this scam was going to come to an end. My good and faithful readers, I know you know by now that whenever one sees Umar Johnson in a cemetery nothing good is going to come from it. He starts out bad.  And I quote: I am coming to a cemetery that was built by our ancestors in the 1880s.  Enslaved Africans built this cemetery to give our people a place of eternal rest. One might ask what is so bad about this.  Well it's the fact that the cemetery, which he claims was built in the 1880s was built by enslaved Africans.  Hmmmm.  It seems that one might note that slavery in the United States ended in 1865, so one would wonder who these enslaved Africans were who build a cemetery in the 1880s. For the purposes of this post, let me define two terms--stupid lie and stupid liar.  The definition of a stupid lie is a lie a that doesn't need to be told.  The definition of a stupid liar is a person who tells a stupid lie. Umar Johnson isn't going to stop trying to scam people.  The need to lie, cheat, confuse and bamboozle folks for money seems to be in every membrane, every tendon, every muscle, every fiber, and every cell in his body.  It's as if he cannot help it.  He simply refuses to find a legitimate line of work.  He just won't stop unless something or someone stops him. There is a thing called shame .  Although shame is seen as a negative emotion, shame has its place, in my opinion.  The emotion of shame usually serves to put us in check.  In other words, if one's behavior is worthy of shame, one will modify one's behavior as a result of being ashamed, mortified, or humiliated. In other words, being ashamed of one's actions and behaviors serves to make one change their actions and behaviors because shame is a negative emotion.  No one likes being ashamed. In my view, Umar Johnson doesn't display the emotion of shame.  He has no shame in his game . The reason I know this is because he had the unmitigated gall to make a Facebook live video of him visiting and pouring libations on the graves of Booker T. In a conversation that the brain trust of TrueBlackAnonymous had with Kenneth Morris, the CEO of the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives , we were told that one of the things the organization does is to spend time vetting people who claim to be related to Frederick Douglass.  Believe it or not, Umar Johnson isn't the only person who claims a relationship to Frederick Douglass. It happens. Most of these people mean no harm.  They just want to verify what their mothers, aunts and grandmothers may have told them.  The Bailey family, through the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives, however, demands to have records, such as birth certificates, marriage licenses, divorce decrees, slave records, and perhaps even DNA. If they happen to find out that there's no relationship to the Bailey/Douglass family, then that is what it is.  But, I suppose it never hurts to ask or investigate. No harm, no foul, right? Well, one would think. But not in the case of Umar Joh...

Does Alexis Ohanian know who Umar Johnson is? I would have never thought.  After all, why would this man pay any attention to Umar Johnson? Perhaps, if this is true, it could be that Umar Johnson has come to the attention of Alexis Ohanian because Umar Johnson spoke negatively about Alexis Ohanian's engagement to tennis great, Serena Williams? How dare you videotape a visit to the memorial site of our good young brother Trayvon Martin!  Trayvon Martin was a private citizen.  Trayvon Martin was a minor when he so sadly and unfortunately died at the hands of George Zimmerman.  He was NOT a public figure.  He was a kid walking from the store with candy and iced tea. In other words, Trayvon Martin was no Frederick Douglass, Alexander Wayman, or Harriet Tubman. Then Umar mentions the names of others who have plaques at that site.  He speculates how they have died.  Of course, he says they died by unnatural causes, or perhaps died by Black-on-Black violence, or white police violence.  These are people that no one knows outside of their families and friends, so how on earth can Umar Johnson know under what circumstances they die...

My good African people, I am faced with an interesting question that I've been asked.  The question goes something like this: Is it 'snitching' to report Umar Johnson to the appropriate authorities for his fraudulent behavior? Well, of course my answer is a resounding NO! Why? Because Umar Johnson is abusive to the most vulnerable of our people.  He takes advantage of the poorest of us, those of us on government aid, single mothers, the elderly, and children.  Umar Johnson has been so very abusive to the most vulnerable among us, it's a dirty shame.  We have outlined and described Umar Johnson's abuse of the Black community on this blog in painstaking detail.  But to summarize: Umar Johnson called Black people " trifling " for not giving him $2 million dollars in a month Umar Johnson called people names such as "coon," "maggot," "jealous Negros," and "niggas," oh, and one "damned Mexican" Umar ...

My mind just boggles at the lengths that Umar Johnson will go to in order to puff himself up and make himself look important.  Why do I think this? Well... Please consider the picture to the left. The first think I notice about this is that Umar Johnson has posted this so-called communication, allegedly from a parent or guardian, asking Umar Johnson for advice, supposedly via a social media platform like Facebook. Hmmm.... The second thing I notice is that he posted this so-called solicitation above a picture of our beloved Baba Dick Gregory with information about his home-going ceremony, presumably from the family website. Why would posting the information about Baba Dick Gregory have even been necessary?  What does Baba Dick Gregory have to do with this supposedly solicitation for Umar Johnson's advise? Or was Umar invoking Dick Gregory in order to give himself credibility, just like he invokes Frederick Douglass , Alexander Wayman , and, as he attempte...

Exhibit 1 I just have to say it, you all.  Umar Johnson is so damned disrespectful. Not only does he lie to the people, lie on and threaten elders, get money from people for a project that has yet to come to fruition, Umar cannot even manage to respect the dead.
