Leaving...
The Umar Johnson sector has gotten even crazier and I didn't think that was possible. Too crazy for me.
My goal is, and has always been, to bring awareness to Umar Johnson and his scams. I have been doing this on and off for the better part of 10 years. I was trying to write the news not be the news.
I have no idea how "Da Sektah" has gone from bringing awareness to scams by Umar Johnson and others to going after each other.
One content creator saw me in a chat with someone they didn't like and thought I was a "double agent" because I commented in the chat in (what I hope) was a positive manner. I am not "agent," let alone a so-called "double agent." As a result, the content creator took my moderator status from their channel based on being seen an a chat room.
I was listening and commenting in a chat. That doesn't make me a "double agent." I look at this like a job. I don't have to like someone, or agree with someone, to interact for the purposes of gathering information for consideration and possible blogging.
I have never doxxed anyone. I have never attempted to get people fired from their jobs. I have never tried to stop people from getting legitimate income. I have never tried to find out where anyone lives. I have never "passed" information in an attempt to hurt anyone other than Umar Johnson because of Umar Johnson's scams.
I would not do that, especially over something someone said in a chat room or comment section that I may not like or agree with or because I saw someone in a chat room of a person I didn't care for. This is why we have something called free speech which includes the right to express opinions. I don't have to like it or agree with it, and sometimes I don't. But my not liking or agreeing with someone's opinion doesn't make me want to interrupt their lives, their families, their jobs, their income, etc.
I. DON'T. DO. THAT.
Never have. Never will.
All I have done was listen to videos of all sorts, comment if I want, and write commentary, if I choose.
Somehow, I have gotten caught up in the mess and I do not want to be caught up. I want no involvement in this bullshit. I don't have time to follow the ins and outs of all this mess. I have no interest in taking sides. I am only on the side of right in regards to what Umar Johnson is doing. I have absolutely no interest in fighting with people on YouTube. So, I have made a decision to leave "Da Sektah."
Besides...
I have things to do in real life.
Before I leave, I have a suggestion.
Instead of going after one another, I think that energy would be better spent:
- Contacting entities involved with the city of Wilmington, DE, to address whatever is going on with those abandoned buildings.
- Letting large media outlets such as The Breakfast Club and Nick Cannon, and others, know how you feel about their continuing to platform Umar Johnson without challenging him.
- Challenging YouTubers such as Loon, Baba David, and The Art of Dialogue on their refusal to ask Umar Johnson real questions and make him be accountable.
- Continuing to discourage people from giving their hard-earned money to Umar Johnson for an alleged school that will never exist (or whatever he's trying to pretend he's doing).
- And...for the love of all that is holy, please continue to discourage women from getting involved with Umar Johnson in any capacity. We have seen the result of these liaisions.
That's it. That's all.
Goodbye and good luck to all.
If Umar Johnson's mouth is moving and sound is coming out, Umar Johnson is lying.
