A Plea to Our African Sisters and Brothers in Paris, France...

This writing serves as a plea to our African sisters and brothers in Paris France.

I understand that someone in the city of Paris, France, is having an event which is featuring Umar Johnson.

Bless the soul(s) of the person or persons who wants to put this event on.

I would warn our good sisters and brothers in France not to allow Umar Johnson to collect donation money for his fictitious Frederick Douglass and Marcus Garvey International RBG Academy, also referred to as FDMG.

Why?

For one, Umar Johnson has never provided any financial framework for the running of his pretend school.

Secondly, Umar has given public respect to a convicted child molester.  Do you really want that type of man running a school for anyone's children?

Thirdly, Umar Johnson is about one year behind on his child support payments.  Think really hard on that one, please.

And, Umar Johnson has had the not-for-profit status revoked by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) because he did not file the appropriate form, called a Form990, that would explain what a not-for-profit organization has done with the donation money.

In addition, Umar Johnson's credentials have not been verified.

Lastly, consider our good sister, Santa Albitrouw, from Holland, who is an intelligent woman who believed Umar Johnson in regards to his wish to purchase St. Paul's College, located in Lawrenceville, VA, USA.  St. Paul's College is a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) that has been closed and sitting vacant for some time.  It has not been sold, despite what he said on the Roland Martin show.

Umar Johnson has said in many instances of his desire to purchase St. Paul's College and turn it into a residential school for Black boys.  This is why Umar was asking for donations from our sincere, well-meaning Black people from all over the world.

Our sister worked to obtain for Umar Johnson, in order to purchase St. Paul's College, a $5 million (US) loan, at 4.5% interest rate and 20 years to pay it off.  Umar Johnson turned it down.

Why?

My conjecture is that Umar Johnson has no intentions of making/building/creating a school.  And he cannot continue to go all over the world, asking for donations, if he actually gets the school.  If he actually gets the school, he would have to deliver on his outrageous promises, which he cannot.

Now, if Umar Johnson, comes to Paris, France, and attempts to collect donations for FDMG, or sells pillows, backpacks, hats, or any other item, as a fundraiser for FDMG, if I were you all, I would ask the critical questions about what he's doing with the money, just like he wants folks to ask churches.

In fact, if you could, please consider contacting the United States Embassy in Paris and warn them about the arrival of Umar Johnson into Paris.

  2. Listen I am not concerned with Umar's personal life, when we dig into all he greats even Martin Luther himself will have dirt...the basis of what he says is truth! I am a black teacher and I see what he talks about all day long...I don't care about him personally, I take parts of what his says and use my own common sense to formulate and educated opinion that will further my people...
