Umar and his "Beefs"
Well now, you know I was thinking about Umar Johnson and his various beefs with folks and I have noticed one thing:
Umar seems to only get into these "beefs" with people who could make something like the FDMG Academy happen.
Example 1: Boyce Watkins, a Black man with a PhD in Finance, has defended Umar Johnson, in spite of Umar's obvious flaws and differences of opinion. We all know what happened to him and his team when basic questions were asked.
Example 2: Chantall Beaty, who is part of a multi-national firm, has offered to assist Umar Johnson in getting his ducks in a row, so to speak, to be able to put something like an FDMG together, if that is what the people want. For that, she was compared to Miss Piggy.

Example 3: The sister from the Netherlands, got Umar a $5 million dollar loan at a low-interest rate and a 20-year term to pay it back. For that, she was ignored.
Example 4: Now, I admit this example might be a bit of a stretch. But here goes. Ken Morris and Tarence Bailey, from the Bailey/Douglass family, could have helped Umar Johnson, through connections, to get funding for FDMG, if he came with the right documentation about this school, along with some respect. But Umar has not only NOT proven his possible relationship to them, has NOT produced any documented plans about FDMG, and has NOT proven his credentials. However, he called Mr. Bailey a "flunky" and claims Mr. Morris is "jealous" of him.
What's more, according to Mr. Bailey, he asked Umar why he didn't come to the elders of the family and explain what he wanted to do. Umar supposedly responded that he didn't have to ask anyone anything, and that he could use the Frederick Douglass name since no one has a copyright to the name Frederick Douglass.
By the way, this is how the 'psychologist' speaks to his family members?
So, by this logic, I could say I was related to Frederick Douglass. DNA and vital records be damned. Wow...
The long and short of it is that, in my personal opinion, Umar is not serious about building a school. If he were, he wouldn't manage to get into these "beefs" with persons or entities who could actually make something like FDMG happen.
Just something to think about.
