Enough is Enough!!!!

Finally!

Word on the street, and on video, is that at least one of our dedicated and respected elders, the good Dr. Phil Valentine, has had enough of Umar Johnson (and others), and his foolery.  Let's face it, some of the things that Umar says and does are downright distasteful.

And I, for one, shout Hallelujah!

For one thing, Umar calling himself the Prince of Pan-Africanism is completely absurd.  Who gave him that title?  And if someone did give Umar such a name, on what basis was the name given to him?  Or is that a title he gave himself because he thought it sounded good?

Don't even get me started on King Kong Konsciousness.  Ridiculousness...

To quote our elder, Dr. Phil Valentine:

"Based on the ridiculous, downright blasphemous behavior I've been seeing exhibited by those who claim to be forwarding their (the elders) great works, those entrusted with their legacy, the utter disrespect to the memory of those who brought value and substance to the lives of thousands by sacrificing their own.  I've seen these few take this platform to spit vitriol instead of virtue, curses instead of cures, hate instead of healing, division versus collectivism.  I won't be naming names here.  That's not necessary for by their actions they will be known, and brought nothing but shame and disappointment to their (the elders) legacies.  People looking at the kind of circus-like atmosphere that was being enacted up and prosecuted...it hurt my heart..and..uh..well, let me go forward.
Our so-called 'Conscious Community' was stricken by an infection, one that crippled logic, discernment, and reason, destroying our empathy for one another.  For example, let me be clear:  Having sat with true warriors in the fight to bring us closer to the African continent, I have never once heard, for instance, Kwame Toure, who I sat in audience right before he made his transition, ever call himself a 'Prince of Pan-Africanism'.  Because the true warriors never held a coronation to adorn themselves with self-proclaimed royalty.  I've never heard a founding father of the conscious community, of what became the conscious community, refer to themselves as a Hollywood ape that hung from the Empire State Building when referring to their contributions and participation in the Conscious Community.
I've never seen my elders cuss, scream, hurl invectives at one another and call that debating.  If there was a debate, it was with the recognized enemy, not your family.  And worse yet, I've never, ever heard of any of my contemporaries in the conscious community fix their faces to say 'fuck the elders'."

Dr. Valentine is throwing Sara Suten Seti into the mix, because, really, who has the nerve to say "Fuck the elders"?

Well, one cannot blame the good doctor for that because Sara Suten Seti is not an innocent.  However, I DO hold Umar Johnson to a higher standard because Umar is the one who claims to be a psychologist, a therapist, a clinical psychologist, and an expert on special education and other credentials.  Seti doesn't make such claims.

Secondly, Umar being threatening, up to and including being physically threatening, toward a person or persons who have a differing opinion is not only unacceptable, but it is actually downright foolishness.

Seriously, who does that?

Also, what scholar or leader cannot stand to be asked critical questions?

Narcissistic much?
In addition, the fact that Umar Johnson has repeatedly refuses to give a written account of what he's done with the GoFundMe and the PayPal monies that were donated by our people to start a school for Black boys, even after repeated requests from donors, potential donors, or other interested parties.  Umar's refusal to give an account of these monies demonstrates complete and total disrespect and utter contempt for those who donated to his 'school' and for our people in general.

Umar has never bothered to update his donors and followers on his 501(c)(4) status for his FDMG organization.

Umar has never bothered with filing the Form990, as required by the IRS, so as to account for what has happened to the donation monies, which is why his 501(c)(4) status was revoked.

It is not known if Umar Johnson ever explained why his PayPal account was frozen, other than 'sabotage'.

As a side note, I have noticed how Umar Johnson repeatedly claims sabotage.  Examples include.
  1. Paypal
  2. Khym Ringgold
  3. Every public school system in the United States of America
  4. Kenneth B. Morris
  5. Tarence Bailey
  6. Motley's
  7. Elders at Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, DC
  8. Leonard Jeffries
  9. Anthony Browder
  10. Roland Martin
Oh...and trifling, lazy, jealous, dusty, hotep, shea butter Negros.

And perhaps even more.

I commend Dr. Valentine for speaking out about Umar Johnson's foolishness,  And, I, for one, really hope more of our esteemed elders in our community finally throw a penalty flag down on the play, metaphorically speaking, and check Umar Johnson on his shenanigans.

After all, enough is enough!

  1. I’ve been doing some research of my own on Umar Johnson’s delusional lying ass and I keep finding all these videos where he makes statements that are completely false! He claims that adhd wasn’t introduced u til 1980’s which that is FALSE! H also claimed that black children were being diagnosed more then any other race and that is FALSE.....As a matter of fact it is the opposite! Black children are less likely to be diagnosed with adhd!!! How is this man allowed to give out false and potentially harmful information and not have his ass in jail! Why isn’t the board of Ed or someone with power not taken his ass to task with these lies! Is it because he isn’t speaking on white children cause I guarantee if he started peddling that bullshit to whitefolks about their children he would have been silenced long ago! Why do we allow these frauds to come in our community’s and wreck havoc and nothing is done!
