A Front?
This is interesting. So interesting, that I am concerned that I address this in the right way. Here it goes.
There is an organization called National Independent Black Parent Association (NIBPA), that has been started by Umar Johnson, and perhaps some of his companions.
On the surface, nothings seems wrong at all and the goals appear to be admirable. However, if one looks below the surface, one will see the following.
In the list pictured above, the National Independent Black Parent Association would be between the National Friends of Amistad, Inc., and the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions. We can see that NIBPA has no tax status, and, therefore, may be operating illegally.
Some questions, please?
Is it possible that the National Independent Black Parent Association is something of a "front" organization?
What do I mean?
What I mean to say is: Could it be that NIBPA is acting as a front organization for Umar Johnson to get bookings for speaking engagements and "trainings" for which Umar Johnson can get paid, as well as continue to solicit donations for the invisible, phony-baloney FDMG Academy?
It looks like Umar Johnson is slated to speak in Moss Point, Mississippi on May 22, 2018, perhaps to hold a training for the Mississippi chapter of the NIBPA. NIBPA isn't a legal organization, one is uncertain if they can legally collect money at all?
Another question.
Does NIBPA, a national organization, have a national level organizational structure, such as a national president, a national vice-president, a national secretary and/or a national treasurer? Does NIBPA have records of agendas, minutes, or financial statements?
Further, one wonders if there's any evidence that Umar Johnson keeps records of the people he's supposedly advising and counseling?
It has been suggested that the Mississippi Department of Education be contacted to warn them about NIBPA, Anne McMillion, who seems to be the one who is heading the Mississippi chapter of NIBPA, and Umar Johnson.
I'm just saying...NIBPA looks very familiar.
