Out In The Weeds...
It's official, as far as we're concerned. Umar Johnson is out in the weeds, figuratively speaking.
Umar had a successful 4-plus year scam of a promise and an idea of a school.
Remember the school?
Remember Umar was asking for donations and resumes (I suspect for information gathering purposes) for a school that never came to fruition.
He has never accounted to the people where the $700,000 of money went. Keep in mind I'm saying $700,000 because Umar said it. No one, except Umar and possibly Anne McMillon, knows how much money was collected for the non-existent, invisible school. There was no public documentation to verify what Umar said.
Then Umar tried to float the idea of his going to law school and he was going to get you all to pay for it.
When the law school gambit fell on deaf ears, for the most part, he came up with Ifatunde University, which, as far as I can tell, is nothing but a book club.
I mean, really. Why do you need Umar, with yet another phony-scam school, to participate or start what is in essence a book club?
What is stopping anyone from getting three to five friends/co-workers/neighbors together, picking a book to read and agreeing to have a discussion group about the book, say, every Thursday evening at someone house or apartment?
YES, YES, and YES, YOU CAN DO THAT IF YOU WANT!
No one needs Umar Johnson for that.
And you certainly don't need to give Umar Johnson any money to do something you can do yourselves.
AND...by the way, my good dear people, did you know that a person cannot call themselves a "university?" Universities have to deal the accreditation, develop curricula, show how attending the university is beneficial to students, have insurance -- you know, ALL the things anyone who started a LEGITIMATE school would know.
Of course, anyone with a lick of sense should know that Umar Johnson is not legitimate and by the looks of it, will NEVER be legitimate.

I heard he was charging a 300.00 monthly fee for this so called "book club"....Not sure how true that is though
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! $300 a month for what is in essence a book club. People can do that themselves. Why would they need Umar?
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't deserve the air he breaths
