"Realtor" Dashes Through The Snow....
From: Chicago Tribune January 12, 2017
This is why I think the 'realtor' in this video isn't truly a realtor. It is interesting that she was able to get a key to open a building on Christmas day. Is that typical of a realtor? Further, she didn't seem to know the neighborhood. Most realtors would know the neighborhood in terms of demographics, schools, public transportation and other conveniences. It's interesting that, when asked, she started to immediately talk about the crime in the neighborhood, Cicero, IL.
However, I wonder why Umar Johnson would even consider putting his school in Cicero, IL, which has a small Black population and a per capita income of $14,339. Who from that neighborhood would attend Umar's school? Who from that neighborhood would be able to pay tuition for Umar's school?
Or is this just more smoke and mirrors?

Chicago Public Schools says it will try to speed up the process of finding new uses for buildings shuttered by school closings in 2013 by putting about 30 vacant properties on the market.
Putting the remaining properties up for bid "will accelerate the reuse and revitalization of former school sites and help spur new value from properties throughout the city," CPS spokesman Michael Passman said in a statement.
Bids are due by March 13, the district said. CPS would then negotiate with the top two bidders and consult with the local alderman before making final decisions on each potential sale.
Privately operated charter schools will not be allowed to take over the closed buildings, the district said.
If the Chicago Tribune article is true, Umar Johnson, or anyone else, will not be able to open a privately operated school, which is what Umar Johnson is proposing.
Even more, there is an arduous bidding process one had to undergo in order to submit a bid for a school that is closed. From the linked document, bidding for closed schools ended on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM, CST. Further, I imagine that there is a process, including a bidding process that might include submitting a financial statement. There are NO schools currently up for bid as of the date of this blog posting.
With back taxes, back child support, and the State Board of Psychology on his behind, what possible financial statement could Umar Johnson have submitted to the city of Chicago when his only source of financing (as far as anyone can tell) is GoFundMe, who is also digging in his behind?
So, really, what are the chances that Umar Johnson submitted a formal bid to the city of Chicago? Not very likely, if you ask me.
So how is it that someone, who is supposed to be a realtor, can show a school to a non-bidder on a holiday when those who may have already bidded already went through the process?
