Umar...The Grinch that Stole Christmas

Umar Johnson lies like you and I blink our eyes.  He lies almost instinctively.  He lies like we breath air and drink water.  It is simply what he does.

So, what is Umar Johnson's latest lie that TrueBlackAnonymous caught him in?

Well...if you go the GoFundMe message to him in regards to their intention to take down Umar's FDMG campaign unless he provides GoFundMe with a statement of funds and with the contact information for the realtor of FDMG.  Umar Johnson claims he has not complied with their request because he has already complied with their request by providing bank details and information to find out if a single penny has been withdrawn from the FDMG account.

Let's break this lie down piece by piece.

GoFundMe

This message that Umar Johnson himself posted on his Twitter account from GoFundMe indicates that Umar Johnson has not responded with the information GoFundMe requested.

Remember when Umar Johnson's GoFundMe account was temporarily suspended?  He claimed that GoFundMe asked him for information regarding his relationship to Frederick Douglass.  TrueBlackAnonymous was then in contact with the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives and a representative told TrueBlackAnonymous that no one from GoFundMe contacted them at all.  So that was a lie, too.

Is it much of a stretch then to believe that Umar Johnson never gave GoFundMe any bank information or bank statements?  From Umar Johnson's own Twitter post, he hasn't complied with GoFundMe's request.

And isn't it interesting that he either lied back in February, when he was thanking all his haters, or he's lying now.  Either way, he's lying, starting at about 12 minutes and 30 seconds in a video that HE posted on Facebook live.

How Much Money Does Umar Have?

Umar Johnson then claims that GoFundMe has only given him between $250,000 and $275,000 of the money that was donated.

As of today, the amount displayed on Umar Johnson's page is $403,221 given by 10,285 donors.  At .30 cents per donor, that is:
10285 x .30 = 3085.5 or $3,085.50 of money that GoFundMe keeps based on the number of donors.

At time the platform fee for personal accounts (which is what Umar Johnson has) was 5% plus a 2.9% payment processing fee or a total fee of 7.9%
So, if we calculate 403221 x. 079= 23246.55 or $23,246.55

Now, let's add up all the fees.

$23,246.55 +$3,085.50 = $26,332.05

Let's subtract the total fees from the total amount donated:

$403,221 - $26,332.05 = $376,888.95

TrueBlackAnonymous checked the terms today for GoFundMe and guess what?  The platform fee for a personal account is now 0%.  Yes, zilch, zero, nada, nothing!  This means that there should only be 2.9% fee.

Back to our math.

403,221 x. 029 = 11693.409, or $11,693.41 in fees, which is LESS money that GoFundMe takes and if that is the case we then have, once we add the .30 cents per donation:

$403,221 - ($11,693.41+$3,085.50) = $388,442.09

So, if Umar is correct, and GoFundMe has only released $250,000 to $275,000 to his account at his bank, then there is upwards of $120,000 to $165,000 that either GoFundMe is holding, which they don't typically do because GoFundMe isn't a bank.  Or, that money has simply disappeared, which doesn't seem very likely.

Now Umar Johnson says that GoFundMe is robbing you of your donation money then has the gall to ask for proof of what he's doing with the money, based on the complaints of "jealous negros" who have nothing better to do than to harass him.

Further, he'd rather have the GoFundMe account suspended than to continue to provide them with the proof of what he's doing with the money. 

Stop and think on that one, Folks.  Now THAT is very interesting.

Providing GoFundMe with Realtor Information

I know for a fact Umar Johnson is lying about this.  He claims he's already provided GoFundMe with realtor information.  But how could he have done this when he doesn't even have a location secured for his pretend school?  The school has been everywhere from Atlanta, to Detroit, to Chicago, to Cleveland, to Baltimore, to Wilmington, DE to who knows where.  What single realtor works in all of those cities?

So rather than use GoFundMe, rather than put together a legitimate team of accountants and finance people, rather than to get a board of directors, Umar Johnson wants you to make in checks and money orders to him.  Again, he will never give a written account of what is being done with the money and without having anyone working with him who is legitimate to account for the money.
