A Little Detective Work...

Umar Johnson, during the recording of a parent teleconference, uploaded on YouTube on September 8, 2017 call from 1 hour and 25 minutes until 1 hour and 40 minutes

From:  Google Maps
In the middle of the parent telling Umar Johnson what her issue is with her son at his school, Umar does the following:

  • Asks the parent to help him find a venue for him to speak in the New Haven, CT area (coincidentally about 15 to 17 minutes south of Hamden, CT)
  • After the parent tells Umar that she has parents ready to go in terms of being organized, Umar says that he can possibly do a speaking engagement "next month."  Next month is in October, 2017
  • Umar then promises to work with her to get a venue (dual relationship?) and arrange to pay the deposit for the venue (Is this the venue Umar deemed to be unsafe for women and children?) so that they can meet to help get parents in New Haven, CT organized to start a chapter of his National Independent Black Parent Association.

Surely, the parents in New Haven, CT are sincere about their children doing well in school.  After all, what parent doesn't want their children to do as well as possible?  They were ready to hear from a so-called 'expert.'  They found a venue and a date.  They were ready to go to work for their children.

We know what happened in Connecticut with Umar Johnson and his event in Hamden, CT.

Go from 1 hour and 25 minutes until about 1 hour and 40 minutes

It seems that Umar Johnson, while engaging in a dual relationship (OPENLY by the way), used this woman, who was calling out of concern for her child, and all the children in the public schools in New Haven, CT, in a bait and switch money-grabbing scheme and the Balcony Banquet Facility was another unwitting victim.

I really, really, really hope that my detective work is wrong.  I really do.

But, shoot, who am I kidding?
