Refund?

Well now, it seems as though Umar Johnson has found a new way to take advantage of our people.  Using EventBrite, Umar Johnson advertised an event in Hamden, CT.

Someone that we trust let us know that Umar Johnson cancelled the booking of the facility a week before the event.  Yet, Umar went onto CitizensTV, in Hamden, CT and advertised his speaking engagement.

Please note in the picture to the left that, according to EventBrite, this event has tickets for $20 with NO REFUNDS.

Interesting.

Now, if it is true that Umar Johnson cancelled the facility one week before the event, citing security issues, surely he made arrangements to refund the money to ticket holders, if the ticket holders choose to do so.

Right?

Well...it seems that the jury is still out on that.

But, if I had it to guess, I would think that the Balcony Banquet Facility doesn't like the implication that their venue is unsafe.
