We don't want no third-grader in special ed for being lazy

Umar Johnson

Umar Johnson regularly asserts that the Black children who are in special education classes is because they, and their parents, are lazy.  Further, most Black children end up in special education because of racist white teachers.

Also, remember that according to Umar Johnson, Black parents are trifling because they "only" gave him $250,000 for a school.  Remember that Umar Johnson told his supporters in Atlanta that he basically thought they were too stupid to read a business plan because they don't even have a GED.

Sadly, the audience applauded him.

Yet, he wants you to keep giving him money that is supposedly to buy/build/create/make a school that doesn't exist physically or legally.

Where is FDMG?

Umar Johnson has claimed to be making announcements about the FDMG school.  Dates have come and gone with no announcement.  The latest date Umar Johnson claimed he was going to make an announcement was on January 1, 2019.  Of course, true to form, January 1, 2019 came and went and there was no announcement.

And Umar Johnson, in this entire 50 minute interview, has the unmitigated gall to never mention the January 1, 2019 announcement that never happened.  And the interviewers never asked him.  Umar Johnson announced a new date for yet another announcement for February 14, 2019. 

The fact that the interviewers NEVER ask Umar the critical questions is sad and disheartening.  The idea that Umar Johnson able to walk around in Philadelphia without being challenged on his bullshit is beyond my ability to comprehend.

However, Umar Johnson says the following:

2:53	“What's the first job of a man? To protect and provide.”	Umar Johnson encouraged his followers to confront his daughter's mother and grandmother, gave the name of his younger daughter's school and doesn't pay child support.
6:07	When speaking of Ben “Coon” Carson, Umar says, “I called him that!”	Umar beats on his chest like King Kong.  So I guess calling someone a name makes him “King Kong Consciousness”?
7:12	"Shame the devil and tell the truth!"	Umar Johnson refuses to tell his donors anything about the donation money given to make/buy/build/create a school.
7:25	“Part of being a Black man is that I gotta put you on a pedestal even if you say don’t do it.”	Umar Johnson has called Black women pigs, maggots, ashy-assed THOTS and diagnoses victims of incest, molestation and sexual assault as having THOT-ish personality disorder.
8:50	"And that’s why I’m opening a school."	Umar Johnson has been claiming that he’s going to open a school for about ten years, and no one has seen a plan, a budget, a board, a sketch, an outline, or a rusty doorknob after collecting close to $1 million dollars from Black people all over the world.
9:06	"[The haters] are irrelevant."	Umar Johnson has doxed two of his so-called “haters,” has encouraged people to go after them physically and has even posted pictures of persons he believes to be his chief hater, Anti Afro Svengalis, in order to encourage his followers to 'go after' her.  One of his former followers lost his job as a result of following Umar Johnson’s directive.  Besides, what real professional anybody has to constantly rattle on about "haters?"
15:05	There’s a lot of people who make money by pimping Black pain and poverty projects.	One wonders if Umar Johnson ever really looks at himself in the mirror or how he sleeps at night.
16:16	“I’ve never tooken a life.”	This grammatical atrocity was uttered from the mouth of a so-called man who claims to have six degrees.
16:21	"But if we gon’ take them streets back we have to admit something.  I’m talking as a psychologist.  Some of our young men…we’ve let them go so far for so long, they ain’t no good to no damn body."	Umar Johnson is telling the story of his life.  He’s no good to nobody – not his father, who he’s doxed, not his children for whom he doesn’t care for or support, not their mothers, or to his people from whom he’s essentially stolen one million dollars.
16:29	"There are people walking these streets who we gonna have to put to sleep."	Does a doctor of any sort advocate murder?
28:32	"I’m going to tell you what the culprit is (for children being labeled with learning disabilities), lazy parents and racist white teachers."	Umar Johnson often name-calls parents, children and teachers.  One of his favorite names to call people is “lazy.”
29:20	"Where are the Black men stepping up to help our single mothers raise these boys?"	Where are you, Umar Johnson, to help raise your own children?
31:40	"I used to be the school psychologist at the Overbrook School for the Blind." 32:29	"They’re (Philadelphia public and charter schools) mixing (kids) disabilities to save money and the only reason why they haven’t been exposed is because most Black parents could care less about it."	Umar Johnson not only says that the school district of Philadelphia doesn’t care about the quality of education it delivers but that Black parent don’t care either.  However, there's no evidence to suggest that Umar Johnson cares, either.  He's simply using the topic to get people to give him money.
34:00	"They use our hope and our emotion against us."	Umar Johnson also used hope and emotion against our people to get money for a school that he’s been promising for almost 10 years.
34:05	Black people are so gullible to anybody who says, “we are for you.”	Umar Johnson is Exhibit 1-A of what he’s saying because he preys on gullible and vulnerable Black women with children.
46:21	Umar Johnson repeats the lie that he’s related to Frederick Douglass, even after his own father debunked that story with DNA evidence.	Does anything else need to be said about this?

Meanwhile, DJ Envy actually bought a school.  There is a video with DJ Envy and a partner discussing possible plans for the school building.  Then there is a brother who calls himself Que Butter, with a small amount of donation money and a short period of time, has a school actually running.  In addition, there are African-centered schools all over the country that are currently running, to which we can donate.  Umar Johnson is STILL prattling on about "haters" and continuing to make announcements about upcoming dates for FDMG and his speaking engagements.

Sad.

My bet is that the February 14th date will come and go with no announcement and no acknowledgement.  Anyone want to take me up on it?
