This Is How He Does It!

TrueBlackAnonymous enjoys learning new things.  And, I've learned something new!  Below is a list of what I've learned.

  1. I learned that a church in Washington, DC, Metropolitan AME, held funerals for Rosa Parks, Ralph Bunche and Frederick Douglass.
  2. I learned that Umar Johnson, in all likelihood, is NOT vetted before he goes to speak at colleges and universities because he is booked through student groups and not by administrators, faculty, or professors.
  3. I learned that there are pastors, reverends, bishops, imams and other religious leaders who are not aware of who Umar Johnson is because of point number 4...
  4. I learned that there are often third or fourth parties who rent halls, rooms, etc., in various churches, mosques, student centers, meeting rooms, etc. for Umar Johnson.

Point number 4 is the case for the event that is to take place at Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, DC., tomorrow, Saturday, June 24, 2017.

It only makes sense.  After all, what pastor, reverend, bishop, or other religious leader of a house of worship would knowingly allow the likes of Umar Johnson, the Prince of Pan-Afrikanism, Mr. King Kong Consciousness, to speak at his or her house of worship?  This is a man who it has been proven that he lies, deceives, rants, raves, curses, disrespects, threatens, name-calls and otherwise abuses the very people he claims he's supposedly helping,

Does this upset anyone who is reading this?  Well, it certainly upset Umar Johnson's alleged kinsman, Tarence Bailey, whom Umar called an "Army agent."

Mr. Bailey contacted the church, this church that is very proud of its connection to Frederick Douglass, especially since the funeral of Tarence Bailey's five times great uncle, Frederick Douglass was held that this historic church, and asked them to cancel the event involving Umar Johnson.  The church's response is as follows:

Good morning, Mr. Bailey. Thank you for writing in to share your concerns. The event in question is an external event (emphasis mine) and views expressed do not necessarily represent the views of the pastor or members of Metropolitan AME. We'd encourage you to be in touch with the event organizers to share your concerns as well.

Please, Powers That Be at Metropolitan AME Church in Washington DC, follow your like-minded people from Brooklyn, NY and cancel this event.

I would like to think that no amount of money for rent for a hall in your historic church is worth disrespecting your house of worship and the people who make up its membership.
