Devolving...

I've been paying attention to Umar Johnson.  I'm not talking about paying attention to his usual lies, schemes, and other assorted Umarian shenanigans.

No.

I've REALLY been paying attention.

And I've come to this conclusion a long time ago.

I believe Umar Johnson is mentally ill.

And I'm not the only one.

I agree with our good sister Jacqui Norwood, when she said in the video linked here at the 11 minute and 10 second mark, when she says that "we can see something is wrong with you [Umar Johnson]."

Umar Johnson can't hide anymore.  He can't seem to hold it together.  He's not even pretending anymore.

Umar Johnson is devolving.

My evidence?

Exhibit One

Umar Johnson claims he wants a "second wife" who has sons, for whom the father isn't in the picture, to "raise."  Umar Johnson hasn't paid child support, as evidenced by the public record of him being in and out of child support court for at least 16 years.  Umar Johnson doesn't have a permanent address.  Umar Johnson doesn't have a job.  If folks weren't sending him donations for a school that doesn't exist, Umar Johnson wouldn't survive.  So, forgive me if I don't see what he could offer a woman or her sons.

Exhibit Two

Umar Johnson is openly flirting with women via his social media.  He's not even trying to be cool about it  He's not even trying to hide it.  And, although it could be argued that the women are flirting with him as well, shouldn't he, as the so-called professional, have ways to put a stop to it?  Umar Johnson isn't trying to stop it.  He may be trying to be sexy to women hoping they will give him donations, sexual favors, a place to stay, or any combination thereof.  After all, he's doing these videos while he's laying in bed.  Ironically, he calls Black people and their children lazy.

This makes me believe even more strongly that Khym Ringgold was right.

Exhibit Three

I don't even know what Umar Johnson is doing in the video below.  But whatever it is, Umar Johnson said that Frederick Douglass told him to do it.

Really?

The fact that Umar Johnson can't seem to let Frederick Douglass go, the fact that he's been heard time and again claiming Frederick Douglass as his "great ancestor" is mind-boggling, especially in the face of DNA evidence to the contrary.  Waving swords around can be construed as being threatening while he's denigrating "white teachers."

It's clear that Umar Johnson is devolving.  He can't hide it anymore.

Would you trust him to run a school?
