Run, I Said, Run!!!

I actually do consider what my fellow Anti Fraud Warriors say.  I believe them.  From everything I can see, they appear to be honest and upstanding people.  Now, I'm not saying that they are perfect.  I'm not perfect.  But, based on my experience of them, I believe them.

Now that said, the brother Lenon Honor and the brother What Happened to Common Sense said things in recent videos that compelled me to put on my thinking cap when it comes to Umar Johnson and his FDMG no-way-in-hell-going-to-exist school.  And once I put my thinking cap on and started to research, the following came to my brain and is now on the blog.

Umar Johnson could not have executed this scam alone. We know that Umar Johnson, if he owned the buildings on Wilmington, DE, outright and alone, the buildings would have been seized because of his child support and/or federal and state tax issues.

And I have my theories as to who else may have been involved whether they even realized it or not.  Remember, this is alleged and these are theories based on the idea that I know Umar Johnson could not have done this alone, that Umar Johnson lies all the time and it stand to reason that he lied to any or all of these people, and these individuals make more than one appearance online in association with Umar Johnson.

If I'm proven wrong, I'll be more than happy to delete this post and apologize to the people I've named.

Sharon Thomas

Sharon Thomas has been labeled Umar Johnson's girlfriend.

I don't care about who Umar Johnson dates or has sex with.  That's none of my business.  Further, I don't care that Ms. Thomas is or may be biracial.

However, what I do care about is the idea that Umar Johnson allegedly purchased a property for her using the donation money from unsuspecting people who thought they were donating to a school.

This isn't the first time this idea has been brought up. Our good sister, Anti Afro Svengalis brought this up in February. 2019

I'm not sure if Ms. Thomas would be legally liable in this situation.  However, it's fascinating that she appears in the "school tour" video with Umar Johnson.

Sharon Thomas also appears in the video after Umar Johnson's hearing in front of the state board of psychology of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA and at the so-called school clean up in Wilmington, DE.

Shonna Etienne

Shonna Etienne may or may not be a willing participant in Umar Johnson's scam.  She is a licensed clinical social worker and may have a doctorate degree.  

I confess that I have difficulty believing that anyone with any real credentials would associate himself or herself with Umar Johnson.  So I am going to assume that Shonna Etienne didn't know that Umar Johnson is a fraud.

However, when she is speaking under her title as a licensed clinical social worker and backing up Umar Johnson, who doesn't have a license, she may want to be careful.  After all, a personal opinion can often be different from executing your professional responsibilities.  One should also be careful about one's behavior when speaking and behaving under a title that carries ethical, as well as legal, responsibilities.

Further, if Sister Shonna in the video below is the same Shonna Etienne, LCSW in the video above, she may have some explaining to do to her licensing board and perhaps some state or federal authorities.

I don't know what Sa Neter knows or doesn't know.  I do find it interesting that a lot of these pro-Black scammers are associated with him, including Umar Johnson.  This was especially true around 2016 or 2017.

Complicity

Complicity is the act of helping or encouraging another individual to commit a crime. It is also commonly referred to as aiding and abetting. One who is complicit is said to be an accomplice. But, even though an accomplice does not actually commit the crime, his or her actions helped someone in the commission of the crime.

The concept of accomplice liability means an accomplice faces the same degree of guilt and punishment as the individual who committed the crime. Indeed, accomplices can face the same penalties, including prison time. The key consideration is whether the individual intentionally and voluntarily encouraged or assisted in the commission of the crime, or (in some cases) failed to prevent it.

Elements of Accomplice Liability

While it varies by state, a prosecutor typically must be able to prove the following four elements to convict someone of being an accomplice or aiding and abetting:

• A crime was committed by another individual;
• The defendant "aided, counseled, commanded, or encouraged" the other person in the commission of the crime.
• The defendant acted with the requisite mental state in their jurisdiction, for example, knowingly or purposefully, to assist in the crime.

Examples of Complicity

The following examples illustrate the many ways an individual may be an accomplice to a criminal act:

• Serving as the getaway driver in a bank robbery.
• Turning off the alarm system of a jewelry store in which you work, knowing that it will be robbed later that evening.
• Loaning a handgun to someone who you know is planning to commit a crime.
• Directing a vehicle to a dead-end street where you know an armed carjacker is waiting.

The Difference Between Complicity and Conspiracy

Each state's criminal charges will vary, but typically if you takes an active role in the planning of a crime, you could be charged with being part of a conspiracy. A conspirator agrees with others to commit a future crime, while an accomplice assists, in some way, in the actual commission of a crime. Furthermore, unlike accomplices to a crime, conspirators can be guilty even if their plan is not completed.

Example: If a group of individuals gets together, agrees to plan and commit a robbery, and takes an overt action to accomplish their plan (e.g. purchasing a car, guns, and tools for the robbery), they could each be charged with the crime of conspiracy to commit robbery, even if the robbery never happens. However, if and when the planned robbery is committed by the individuals, they could be charged with both conspiracy and robbery (as principals or accomplices, depending on their role in the robbery).

Conclusion

I don't know if these individuals named above are involved in Umar Johnson's schemes and scams or if they are victims of Umar Johnson's schemes and scams....or both.

And, I admit that  my theories and conjectures could be a whole lot of nothing or a bunch of something.  It looks like a lot of smoke, but I'm not sure it's a fire.

However, if I were any of these people's mother, sister, cousin, aunt, or friend, I would advise them to RUN, not walk, to get away from Umar Johnson and stay as far away from Umar Johnson as one can stay because Umar Johnson is bad for business.
