Cornered Like A Rat

Times are getting very difficult for Umar Johnson.  He's been painted into a corner, in large part because of those of us who call ourselves Anti Fraud Warriors.

I admit, I've been frustrated because I want to see Umar Johnson arrested, tried in a court of law, and locked up.  Yeah, I said it.  Umar Johnson's crimes against Black people are beyond atrocious and I want him to pay.

Frankly, it just hurts my feelings that the most vulnerable among us are being taken advantage of by this charlatan who calls himself a "Doctor."

So what is the end game for Umar Johnson?

Well...outside of the scenario in which Umar Johnson ends up in federal prison, we may be seeing the end game now.  Anti Afro Svengalis gives us a list of successes we Anti Fraud Warriors have been successful in stopping, or at least slowing down, Umar Johnson's shenanigans.

So, in no particular order and in no way complete, is a short list is below.
  1. Proven that Umar Johnson is not a licensed doctor of clinical psychology.
  2. Got Umar's GoFundMe shut down due to suspicion of fraud activity.
  3. Got Umar Johnson's latest attempt at crowd-funding, Plum Fund, shut down.
  4. Learned and made public that Umar was never a member of the Association of Black Psychologists.
  5. Got Umar Johnson speaking engagements shut down on college campuses, K-12 schools, and even jails.
  6. Let it be known that Umar Johnson has tax liens and a revoked 501(c)(4) tax status.
  7. Showed that Umar Johnson has yet to pay a bill on the so-called school property in Wilmington, DE.
  8. Learned that Umar Johnson has not applied for any accreditation with the Department of Education of Delaware to open a school at 610-611 East 17th Street in Wilmington, DE
  9. Learned that Umar Johnson is in debt to the tune of upwards of $168,000 for costs related to this non-existent, misbegotten misadventure of a so-called school.
  10. Shown that there is no legal entity called Frederick Douglass & Marcus Garvey International RBG Academy.
Now the latest?

We've learned, thanks to our fellow Anti Fraud Warrior, the Reverend Gerald Palmer, that Umar Johnson is currently NOT a certified school psychologist.

Umar Johnson has not been a certified school psychologist since approximately 2010.  How do I know this?  From Umar Johnson himself.

You see, Umar Johnson posted a picture of his certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) on his Twitter and Instagram pages.  Note that the date on the certificate is January 8, 2007.  Also note that according to NASP Standards and Certification, to maintain certification as a school psychologist, one must complete 75 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) every three years.

According to Rev. Palmer, in a conversation with Umar Johnson hasn't been keeping up with the requirements to maintain certification from NASP.   Yet he's advertising himself, on his OWN website, as a certified school psychologist.

Umar's website as of November 4, 2019

Based on all of the above, it seems that the walls are closing in on Umar Johnson and his scheming and scamming.

This is good...and scary.

The good news is that the Anti Fraud Warriors have had some successes in stopping Umar Johnson and his foolery.  The bad news is that we all know that Umar Johnson isn't going to stop scamming and his scams may get crazier and more desperate because, in spite of the show Umar is putting on,  he's cornered like a rat.
