In His Wake
Umar Johnson is a destroyer.
There...I said it.
I have been observing, writing about, and critiquing Umar Johnson for many years now. If you have read my blog, you are well aware of this. And, as far as I'm concerned, Umar Johnson deserves to be critiqued.
I sincerely hope you all will agree.
Why?
We can see that Umar is a Destroyer by the evidence. Evidence includes:
- Failing to keep his promise of opening a school after 15-plus years of fund-raising with no accountability and no end in sight.
- Using, abusing, mistreating, and lying to seemingly most women in his life including his mother and his daughter.
- Scamming millions of dollars from his own people with nothing to show for it but some rat-trap bando buildings in Wilmington, DE.
- Failing to be a functional adult in society by not earning an honest living, not having a place to live, not having a vehicle at the age of 50 years old.
Parenthetically, it just occurred to me that Umar Johnson could be someone's grandfather. Can you imagine?!?!
Anyway....
How anyone at this point can believe ANYTHING that comes out of Umar Johnson's mouth is beyond me, when all Umar Johnson has left in his wake are broken people, broken dreams, broken promises, and perhaps a broken community.
And...if we are honest, Umar has left in his wake, his own destruction at his own hands.
After all, Umar Johnson is the ultimate destroyer because he has destroyed himself.
I do not intend to force my personal religious beliefs onto others, but I will confess that every time I look at Umar Johnson, I think of the following verses from the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
Matthew 7:15-20, New International Version
True and False Prophets
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Make of it what you will.
Does Umar Johnson need a 302 involuntary commitment?
