Clearly Contradictory...

So the pan-African stole money from a pan-African event and didn't show up and then he went to an event run by people who helped exploit and traffic African children. Now call me crazy but this is proof that he is a piece of work.

@dutchessofall on Twitter regarding Umar Johnson

Okay, let's get this straight.  Umar Johnson claims to be the Prince of Pan Africanism, yet, he treats his own people like dirt.

And he accepts awards from people who treats his people like dirt.

Now I'm not talking about how he denigrates and disrespects Black women, although there is room to make a point about that on this post

I'm talking about how Umar Johnson, the Prince of Pan Africanism, took money from our brothers and sisters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, without making good on his end of the agreement.  Mr. Six Degrees, Mr. First Class Service on Delta Airlines, Mr. Worldwide Traveler, also didn't seem to understand that Canadian currency is different than US currency.

Well, guess what? One US dollar is worth 1.29120 Canadian dollars as of the date of this post.  One would think that the Prince of Pan Africanism wouldn't consider the difference in currency when dealing with our Canadian sisters and brothers.

So, for his next (mis)adventure, the so-called Prince of Pan Africanism went on to accept an award from the Jordan sisters, of Paterson, NJ, as "Man of the Year."  One of the sisters was caught up in mess involving human trafficking of youngsters from Nigeria, Puerto Rico and Paraguay, to play for the sports teams of Eastside High School of Paterson, NJ.  Nigeria, of course, is an African country.  Puerto Rico and Paraguay, as a result of the events of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, have African descendant populations.

To be fair, Ms. Natalie Jordan was exonerated of charges.

However, the whole thing does have a stench to it, in part because of the behavior of the self-proclaimed Prince of Pan Africanism.

And I will say that I don't see anything princely or pan-African about any of this mess.
